Was ist der Mental Health-Fonds?
Mit dem neu eingerichteten Mental Health-Fonds möchte die ÖH JKU Studierende finanziell unterstützen, welche psychologische oder psychotherapeutische Betreuung in Anspruch nehmen. Es werden 50 Prozent vom Selbstbehalt der Therapiestunden (Betrag abzüglich Leistung des Versicherungsträgers) von der ÖH JKU übernommen, sofern der Selbstbehalt nicht unverhältnismäßig groß ist.
Wie kann ich einen Antrag stellen?
- ausgefülltes Antragsformular
- notwendige Dokumente (siehe Antragsformular)
- Rechnungen der Therapiestunden
per Mail an sozialreferat@oeh.jku.at schicken! Eine Antragstellung ist nur online möglich.
Wie oft kann ich einen Antrag stellen?
Der ÖH JKU Mental Health Fonds ist mit einem Höchstbetrag von €500,- pro Student:in gedeckelt. Eine Antragstellung ist einmal pro Semester möglich (auch wenn du gerade mit einer Therapie beginnst) und für deine eingereichten Rechnungen bekommst du einen Prozentsatz des Selbstbehalts bis zum Höchstbetrag ausgezahlt.
Welche Voraussetzungen gibt es?
- aktives Studium an der Johannes-Kepler-Universität Linz
- soziale Bedürftigkeit im Sinne der ÖH JKU Mental Health Fonds Richtlinien
- ordentliche Studierende: 16 ECTS oder 8 Swst. pro Studienjahr
außerordentliche Studierende: 12 ECTS oder 6 Swst. pro Studienjahr - förderungswürdige psychische Betreuung im Sinne der ÖH JKU Mental Health Fonds Richtlinien

What is the Mental Health Fund?
With the newly established Mental Health Fund, the ÖH JKU would like to financially support students who seek psychological or psychotherapeutic care. The ÖH JKU will cover 50 percent of the deductible of the therapy hours (amount minus the payment of the insurance carrier), as long as the deductible is not disproportionately high.
How can I submit an application?
- completed application form
- necessary documents (see application form)
- invoices of the therapy hours

How often can I submit an application?
The ÖH JKU Mental Health Fund is capped at a maximum amount of €500,- per student. You can apply once per semester (even if you are just starting therapy) and you will be paid a percentage of the deductible costs up to the maximum amount for your submitted bills.
What are the requirements?
- active studies at the Johannes Kepler University Linz
- social need according to the ÖH JKU Mental Health Fund guidelines
- regular students: 16 ECTS or 8 credits per academic year
- extraordinary students: 12 ECTS or 6 Swst. per academic year
- eligible mental health care in the sense of the ÖH JKU Mental Health Fund guidelines
